This vintage sideboard has been professionally refinished to give it a contemporary yet timeless look. The front exterior has been decoupaged using Fornasetti's Nottambule, a discontinued and extremely rare paper. A family of ink engraved wide-eyed owls (a favourite theme of Piero Fornasetti) perched on a stone background.
The sideboard comprises 6 drawers, all fitted with solid teak wooden handle pulls. The shell has been fully refinished. This truly is a one-off piece and would make a statement in any home.
Maintenance: the Fornasetti print has been protected with several layers of hard wearing varnish, which is extremely durable, scratch resistant and water resistant.
Refinished Design: This is a genuine vintage piece of furniture and has had a previous life and a story to tell. Therefore it may have minor imperfections relative to it’s age and wear and tear over the years. This will not affect it’s function or detract from it’s beauty. I have tried my best to capture it’s true likeness in the photos.
